Ophthalmologist:
Duties and responsibilities:
An Ophthalmologist is a physicians who trained to specialize
in eye disorders or a diseases that have to do with the eye. They treat the
vision and they also write out the prescription for the pharmaceuticals and
also for corrective eye glass lenses. And also if they see a surgery is
necessary then they also do the surgery. Most Ophthalmologists are in private practice,
but some are also in clinics and hospitals.
Average Salary: $90,000 - $150,000
Educational Requirements:
ONLY physicians may study to be a ophthalmologists. After completing
medical school students must complete three to five years in a residency program.
And after completing that they MUST take a examination to be certified.

THINK I WOULD WANT TO BECOME ONE BECAUSE I DON’T WANT TO BE LOOKING AT PEOPLES
EYES> THAT BE SOME NASTY STUFF. AND ALSO BECAUSE I DON’T WANT TO WORK ANY
WHERE NEAR THE MEDICAL FIELD. I WOULDN”T
WANT TO DO SERGERY ON SOMEONE ELES.
