Histology Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:
histology specialist include histologic technicians and histologists.  The both work on creating tissue samples that are used by a physician to see if the patients have any type of disease, dysfunction or malignancy. They make the tissue with a equipment that is use to thinly slice the tissue. Then they put them stacked up on a microscope and they put special chemical to stain the tissue so that important structures are visible. The histology specialist work in hospitals, veterinary, pharmacy, or and also research laboratories.

Salary: $ 30,000 - $ 50,000

Education:  Students who are planning on being a histology specialist Should take the most challenging high school courses in science, math, and English. Must earn either a associate’s degree in the field and also complete one year internship or they have the choice to complete long-term training program taken place in histopathology lab.

Reflection:   I Don’t think I would want to be a histology specialist because I don’t want to have a job that has to do with any where near the medical field , I wouldn’t want to be looking through a microscope.
