My Weekend

Well My weekend was The best ever. Sunday me and my best friend went to a party and she was able to spend the night over. And we had fun at the party it was pretty good. And then sunday Was even better. I  Still got to spend time with her and my sister and with my bf. 

Ophthalmologist:

Duties and responsibilities:

An Ophthalmologist is a physicians who trained to specialize in eye disorders or a diseases that have to do with the eye. They treat the vision and they also write out the prescription for the pharmaceuticals and also for corrective eye glass lenses. And also if they see a surgery is necessary then they also do the surgery.  Most Ophthalmologists are in private practice, but some are also in clinics and hospitals.

Average Salary: $90,000 - $150,000

Educational Requirements:

ONLY physicians may study to be a ophthalmologists. After completing medical school students must complete three to five years in a residency program. And after completing that they MUST take a examination to be certified.

Reflection:  NO I DON’T THINK I WOULD WANT TO BECOME ONE BECAUSE I DON’T WANT TO BE LOOKING AT PEOPLES EYES> THAT BE SOME NASTY STUFF. AND ALSO BECAUSE I DON’T WANT TO WORK ANY WHERE NEAR THE MEDICAL FIELD.  I WOULDN”T WANT TO DO  SERGERY ON SOMEONE ELES.

Reflection: i think that this statement from henry means that You need to do something that someone would never think you cand do. Set something high and reach it and make every one eles take back their own words. Of what they had said before. Dont let there words make you give up , you always need to keep trying your very best and believe that you will make them regret what they once had said about you. If you done something and its an orite thing , You shouldn't just leave it there. TRy again and shoot for something 100 times better.

example : 8 in a math test , nope you need to try and get 100% on it.

Ophthalmic Technician

Duties and responsibilities:

Ophthalmic technicians or technologists help the ophthalmologists to collect the date they need, and the correct measurement to be able to see the exact diagnosis and the treatment of the eye diseases and problems. The Ophthalmic Technicians Work in Hospitals, clinics. And other places as well.

Average Salary:

$14,000 - $ 25,000

Education: If a student wants to become a Ophthalmic Technician They will need a high school diploma and or a (GED certificate) and also two years of college prior to beginning ophthalmic training. These programs make take a very long time but can be completed in two years.

Reflection: No i dont think i would want to be one of those things. because i dont want to work in any where that has to do with doctors. & specially not the EYE.

i Think this quote by Mark means that if you set a goal you will achieve that goal you have set.
If You set the goal and you go read over it all the time it is for sure you will achieve maybe not so quick but soon your goal will be acomplished. Setting your goal is a good way to achieve it because you already know what you want , and what it is you will want.

Example: Doing good in school , you have to plan what it is you are going to do to complete this.

Well the progress in my goals are that i already completed 2 more goals. & yeah it feels good to have acomplish them. I read my goals every day for two minutes. I think my other goals are not going to be completed untill later on , it isn't a one day thing its a long term thing. Maybe they will be completed when the 9th grade finished thats if i keep doing what i am and i think and im hoping i dont give up.

 Operating Room technician

Duties and responsibilities:

Operating room technicians also have a term surgical technologists. They help get the surgery room ready.  They are in charge of having all the surgical instruments that are used during the operation. They also can help the doctor by handing him the instruments as he is asking for them. & also they are responsible for counting sponges and needles before and after the surgery.  After the surgery is completed they take the patients to the recovery room.

Average Salary: $16,000-$22,000

Educational Requirements:

To become a Operating Room technician You need a high school diploma or GED Certificate. It is required. At the end of the training student MUST pass an examination by the association of surgical technologists and that way you become certified.

Reflection: No. I don’t think I would want to become a Operating room technician because I don’t want to work in a hospital. And not either seeing people operated. I don’t want to work in any job that is in the medical field.
