Medical Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:

A Medical Assistant Helps the physicians and nurses give the patient care. A medical assistant take care of Making a new appointment, Take blood pressures, respirations, and temperatures. The Medical Assistant work in hospitals, clinics, and private physicians’ offices.  

Average Salary: $ 17,000 - $ 18,000

Educational Requirements:

To Become a medical assistant students should finish high school with courses in biology,  physical science. The medical assistant training programs may accept GED.

Reflection :I don’t think I will like to become a Medical assistant because I don’t anything that has to do with the medical field.

Licensed Practical Nurse

Duties and Responsibilities:  LPN’s Take Care of injured, handicapped, and sick patients.  They Take temperatures, blood pressures and pulse. They also give the patients injections, and help them change their clothing and to take a bath. They take care of them in hospitals, nursing homes, and also in extended care facilities, and some might work in private homes.

Salary: $ 16,000 - $ 23,000

Education: To become a Licensed Practical Nurse , A high school Diploma Neither a GED certificate is not always required, but it is encouraged. State approve training programs there offered by the hospital, Vocational schools, Juniors colleges and private schools.

Reflection: I don’t think I would want to be a Licensed Practical Nurse , Because it seems like a lot of work , and I want a job that is anywhere near the medical field. Tbh I don’t like that

Industrial Hygienist

Duties and responsibilities:

An Industrial Hygienists evaluate health hazards, and they also conduct health risk assessments. They also Provide consultation. They can be administrators, researchers, consultants or teachers. They also collect samples and perform laboratory analyses. An Industrial hygienist conduct epidemiological research.

Average salary: $40,000 - $60,000

Educational requirements:

If you want to be a Industrial hygienist You at least need to have a bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety.

Reflection:

I Don’t think I would want to be a Industrial Hygienist because I don’t want to work in any part of the medical field.

Health Care Aide 

Duties and responsibilities:

A home health aide work for any companies That give service to people at home who, ill, injured, Elderly, and disable people. They have to take the patient’s Blood pressure, temperature, and the pulse. That includes taking them a bath, helping them out of bed & they help the patients dress. They also have to make the meals so that the patients can eat and they also clean , as in the bedrooms and making the beds.

Average Salary: $ 8,000 - $ 18,000

Educational requirements:

Most of the employers want that nursing assistants and aides have a high school diploma or GED.

Reflection: No I wouldn’t want to be a health care aide because I don’t want to be stuck in a house taking care of someone , I cant even take care of my bbysister . I don’t want to work in any part of the medical field.
