What's On your mind ?

On My Mind there is school work right now , how to pick up my grade before they drop down even more. what can I do to make my grade be a much better one. Theres also that I want it to be Friday already. I Also think about my little sister because she is sick, Im also thinking about what todays going to be like , or how is it going to end . hopefully good.

Histology Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:
histology specialist include histologic technicians and histologists.  The both work on creating tissue samples that are used by a physician to see if the patients have any type of disease, dysfunction or malignancy. They make the tissue with a equipment that is use to thinly slice the tissue. Then they put them stacked up on a microscope and they put special chemical to stain the tissue so that important structures are visible. The histology specialist work in hospitals, veterinary, pharmacy, or and also research laboratories.

Salary: $ 30,000 - $ 50,000

Education:  Students who are planning on being a histology specialist Should take the most challenging high school courses in science, math, and English. Must earn either a associate’s degree in the field and also complete one year internship or they have the choice to complete long-term training program taken place in histopathology lab.

Reflection:   I Don’t think I would want to be a histology specialist because I don’t want to have a job that has to do with any where near the medical field , I wouldn’t want to be looking through a microscope.

Physical Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Physical Therapist help patients, anybody function problems. They also help relieve the pain after a injury or a illness. They also apply Heat, cold, light, and treatment water. They also train patients how to use a prosthetic and orthotics appliances. A Physical Therapist Works in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, schools, physicians’ offices.

Salary: $ 25,000 - $45,000

Educational requirements:

 Students who want to become and Physical Therapist They should take the most challenging high school math, science and English courses. In order to become a licensed Therapist Most of the states require for the person to have a master’s degree and to pass a certification exam.

I Don’t think I would like to be a Physical Therapist Because I don’t like anything that has to do with the medical field , I wouldn’t want to be helping out other patients .

Health information specialist

Duties and responsibilities :A health information specialist Obtains , analyze, and post medical insurance . They make sure that the information is properly input into the medical record. So that the patients can be provided with health car with no problems. There are also other jobs within the same field witch are Registered Record Administrators, Accredited Record Technicians, and Certified Coding Specialists.  Health information specialists work in hospitals, clinics, insurance companies, And in many other places.
Salary : $23,000 - $30,000 (Record Technicians) 
Education:
Students must take high school courses in business, information management, science, math, and English. Coding specialists , if you want to be that in the same field then you will need a high school diploma , or GED certificate.

 Answer : I don’t think I would want to be a Health Information specialist because I don’t want to be keeping record of the people’s insurance or anything that has to do with keeping record.

Duties and responsibilities:

A Genetic Counselor works with people, and family  who have genetic, or inherited, disorders and birth defects. They also talk to people who are at a risk of getting these problems. The Genetic Counselor Often :

·        Educate their patients to teach them how to mange to control the problem.

·        They examine the history ,

·        Learn about the childhood.

·        They let the general know about the genetic disorders.

Salary:  $25,000 - $55,000

Educational Requirements:

Students who want to become a genetic counselors should take a challenging high school curriculum that emphasizes science and mathematics. 

A master's degree is required, and most graduate programs require a strong undergraduate background in biology, chemistry, and behavioral science.

Answer :

No I would not like to be a genetic  counselor because I don’t like working with other people’s problems and because I wouldn’t want to be anything near a doctor.
