Speech pathology

Duties and responsibilities:

They work with people have a variety speech related disorder. This disorders may cause the person not to be able to produce certain sounds, speech rhythm and fluency problems , and also voice disorders.  They also work with people who want to modify accents or who have problems swallowing.

Salary: $69,870

Educational Requirements:

In most states one must have a master's degree  in speech-language pathology to practice. Some states will only license speech pathologists who have graduated from a program.

Reflection: No I do not think I would want to become one, just for the simple fact that I don’t like how they work and what they do.

Social workers who work and help families with their problems, such as:

Educational requirements:

Students who are planning on becoming a social worker they need to take challenging high school courses, especially in English, science, and math.  Some organizations may allow the person to just have a bachelor’s degree but most of the organizations need a graduate degree.

Reflection: no I don’t think I would like to become one because I just don’t like what a social worker has to do.

What i think this quote by Penn means that , If you know you are doing something right but someone doesn't agree but you know it is right you should do it. And wrong is wrong even if people believe that it is right, No matter what wrong is  wrong and that won't change. Although people do what is WRONG and believe its right. they are wrong. !

X-Ray Technician

Duties and responsibilities:

Technologists use x-ray machines, ultrasound machines, magnetic resonance scanners, positron emission scanners, and other technologically advanced machines to help diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries under the direction of a physician.  They explain , and get the patient ready for radiological test.  They place the equipment at the right distance and at the right angle. They ensure that the equipment is properly maintained.They work in hospitals, clinics, Nursing homes, and private industry.

Reflection: No I don’t think I would ever want to become one. Just for the fact that I don’t like it.

Duties and responsibilities:

They treat a diseases by putting parts of the patients body to ionizing. They maintain the patients records and they are responsible for keeping the therapy equipment. A Radiation Therapy can be given in hospitals, public health clinics, private offices, and at cancer treatment centers.

Average Salary: $22,000-$36,000

Educational Requirements:

Students should take the most challenging science, math, and English courses that are available in high school. They can train in a program of one or two years. The one year program is sometimes offered by hospitals, The two year program you have to have a high school diploma or GED.

Reflection: No I don’t think I would want to become one, because I don’t like this job , and I am just not interested as working as a doctor.
